Fady Hanna is a Special Education educator, IEP advocate, and aspiring school leader based in Richmond, Texas.
He brings a uniquely diverse professional background, spanning over 15 years as a Senior Petrophysicist and Geoscientist in the international oil and gas industry before transitioning into education, an analytical foundation that continues to sharpen his data-driven approach to IEP development, student assessment, and progress monitoring.
Fady holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Cairo University (2004) and a Master of Education with Principal Certification from Prairie View A&M University (2023). He is certified in Special Education EC-12, Core Subjects EC-6, and ESL Supplemental. He also obtained the certificate required for a reading specialist through Reading Academy courses.
He served as a Life Skills teacher at Wood Creek Elementary in Katy ISD and as a Special Education teacher in Fort Bend ISD’s SAILS program, where he developed and facilitated IEPs, led ARD meetings, administered STAAR ALT 2 and Brigance assessments, and implemented behavior intervention plans. His dedication to his students earned him recognition as a Top-3 Teacher of the Year Finalist in 2022–2023 and Campus Teacher of the Year in 2023–2024. Fady is also the founder of Bridge to Success Tutoring & Advocacy LLC, where he supports families as an IEP consultant and special education advocate, attending ARD meetings, reviewing evaluations, and coaching parents to navigate the special education system with confidence.
He is the founder of the special needs Sunday school class at Saint George Coptic Orthodox Church in Katy, Texas.
